As Fr. Robert receives his treatment for cancer, the Diocese have provided care for the people of St Thomas'. We are extremely fortunate to welcome the Revd Dr Adam Dobrzynski among us.

Here are some details about Fr. Adam.

 Assistant Curate of St Peter's Church in Ealing, and now seconded interim priest at St Thomas’ Hanwell.


Philosopher and Theologian.
Italian wine and Ethiopian coffee lover.

·        Master of Philosophy [Thesis: "Contemporary Approach to the Teleological Argument for the Existence of God"].
·        Master of Theology [Thesis: "The Primacy at the Church in Eucharistic Ecclesiology of Nicholas Afanasiev"].
·        Licentiate in Sacred Theology (STL).
·        PhD in Philosophy [Thesis: "The Attribute of Evil in the European Tradition: An Ontological Aspect"].

In 2002-2010 a monk and a priest within the Roman Catholic Church (the Order of Preachers, also known as the Dominican Order) in Poland, Russia, Ukraine, and Italy.
In 2007-2010 Director of the Institute of Religious Sciences of St Thomas Aquinas [Pontifical University of St Thomas Aquinas "Angelicum" in Rome, Italy].

In September 2019, Fr. Adam has been granted a license to serve as a priest in the Church of England [member of the Church of England since 2016].

Fr. Adam can speak several languages English, Polish, Ukrainian, Italian, and Russian. He learns Spanish.
Fr. Adam can read a Holy Scripture in Greek and Latin and a little Aramaic.
Fr. Adam enjoys, amongst other things, travelling, motorcycling, cooking, reading books, listening to classical music and jazz and watching the latest films.
Fr. Adam has a 7-year-old daughter, Ewa.
