Steve Pound MP to Open St Thomas’ Garden

Published

On 3rd July at 12.30pm Steve Pound MP officially open St Thomas' re-landscaped garden.

Midway through 2015 the PCC decided it would create a green space for the church and coummity groups to use. The area would be the enclosed area running along the west and south of the St Thomas'. After months of work from AMEY and the Couumity Payback Team, St Thomas' people and a generous donation from the William Hobbayne Charity the Garden was cleared and ready for re-turfing. The final work was done by landscape Gardeners led by Rob Walton of Treeco, Horsham.

We hope that this space will be used from Brownies pitching overnight tents to Hanwell Pop-In Cream Teas.

Do come along and enjoy this exviting development and end of our Patronal Festival Weekend Celebrations.
